Independent Publisher Services LLC (Publisher Services) is a
division of Bar Code Graphics, Inc. Our involvement with item identification and barcodes resulted from our participation with the Uniform Code Council's technical committee for creating the printing specifications for UPC symbols in 1974. When the book industry began publication identification, we also contributed to the industry requirements and consequently began assisting publishers of all sizes. Since then we have emerged as both a leading
identification service bureau and the top authority on bar code symbol quality.
Today we have an impressive client base of over 59,000 companies. Our customers range from small independent publishers to the top worldwide retailers. Publisher Services
Bar Code Graphics provides assistance to book publishers enabling them to properly mark their products and shipments. In addition to providing discounted book printing and pre-printed labels, we also assist with online marketing and other publisher related services. Bar Code Artwork (Digital Barcode Files)
Bar Code Graphics, Inc. has reinvented the concept of bar code origination by creating the only online digital bar code service, which creates the most accurate resolution based bar code symbols available. In addition, our online application is the only program which has received GS1 Certification for graphic bar code files.
Printed Label & Book Service Bureau
With an emphasis on quality and quick turnaround, the BCG Service Bureau provides an array of printing services. Our services are geared to both small companies requiring minimal quantities of label to customized program for large retail and pharmaceutical suppliers. Through a combination of thermal transfer, flexographic, and high speed color laser printers, we can fulfill labeling needs for most applications.
BCG Testing Center & Compliance Services
We have become the largest unbiased testing center in North America for point of sale and logistical bar code symbol evaluations. Due to varying barcode compliance requirements, our testing department reviews over 3,000 barcode submissions each year. In addition, Bar Code Graphics administers POS and shipping label compliance for many of the top US retailers. Our award winning program offers retailers and manufacturers a process to enable their suppliers to be compliant to their requirements through education and substantiated validation of compliance infractions.
